Cause and donation

We at Las Gringas love the Amazon so much that we created a collection to help preserve the Amazon forest, which, besides being the largest tropical forest in the world, needs our daily help. Come be part of this project with us. For each piece sold, 10% of the profits are donated to NGOs that support the education of indigenous people, reforestation, and preservation of Brazilian biodiversity.

Faced with the chaos we are facing in the climate, deforestation in the Amazon, neglect of indigenous peoples, an extinction of biodiversity in Brazil and the chaos with plastic in the oceans, we have created a #ZeroWaste collection for causes, made from the leftovers of fabrics used in our collections and with total income being converted to funds to help the Amazon, animals in extinction, abandoned domestic animals and reforestation.

Before getting to your hands this piece went through the affection and care of many others: the hands of the designer who imagined and designed, the seamstresses who brought the final product to life, and the hands who reviewed, packaged and distributed the pieces.

In order to know even more about this whole ethical process, Las Gringas made a point of exposing the costs incurred in the production of each of its parts.

▪ Costing base

• We averaged the monthly fixed costs;
• This cost was divided by the production of the month;
• To calculate discovered as a basis the break-even point of the company;
• The profit will depend on the number of articles sold and the fixed costs.

Some cores and prints may suffer alteration. This happens because the prints are made in scale and according to the fit at the time of cutting. In the case of colors, depends only on the natural light in which the photo was made, not use filters on the images to offer the closest possible color.
